Small brass sextant in wooden box

Small brass sextant in a wooden box. A great gift idea for a sailor and seaman. Sailors and seamen still learn to use celestial navigation instruments, including the sextant, so that they can determine their observed position if GPS and electronics fail. A sextant is used to measure angles and the altitude of celestial bodies above the horizon. This sextant serves a decorative function. It has all the features of a sextant, but due to its size any measurements will be imprecise. It is an elegant, small nautical decoration that refers to sailing and astronomical traditions. The sextant will look good in a captain's cabin, a seaside hotel or a room in a maritime style. The instrument is made of brass with glass lenses. The sextant is packed in a wooden box.
