Brass ship bell - dia. 17.5cm

Brass Ship Bell - dia. 17.5cm. The brass ship bell is a nautical decorative element that should not be missing from rooms in a maritime style. The bell will be a seafaring decoration for a cabin, a sailor's bedroom or a study in a nautical style. The ship bell is a marine decoration that works well in hotels and guesthouses by the sea and in the Great Lakes region. Hung in the kitchen, it will inform household members of dinner time or of gathering to go out. In sailing it is said that the bell is the soul of the ship. Bells gave warning of approaching danger and marked the beginning and end of watches. It was believed that the bell had the power to disperse storm clouds and drive away lightning. It was also meant to protect against unclean powers as a kind of talisman. The ship bell is therefore an idea for a thoughtful gift for a sailor and seafarer.
