Brass Sextant in Wooden Box - XL

XL Brass Sextant - maritime history in a wooden box
Before a ship's position could be read from a screen, sailors reached for navigational instruments and looked to the sky. XL brass sextant evokes exactly that world: long voyages, plotting a course and the craftsmanship of old instruments. It is a replica of a British device from 1917 that combines the character of a maritime decoration with a fully functional mechanism.
The large instrument is placed in a wooden box inlaid with brass elements. The plate with a sailing ship graphic on the lid announces the contents, and the dark green felt inside provides a protective setting for the sextant. It is a gift for a sailor who has a story of their own, and it also looks good between subsequent expeditions.
